Why does our HOA exisit? To maintain the property values of our homes and to protect the aesthetics and character of the development. In short, the value of our neighborhood is in our hands.

Whether you purchased last month or have been here from the beginning, each of us as property owners have an expectation that the covenants will be enforced by the HOA to protect the market price and the neighborhood conditions under which we purchased our property.

The Briar Run Estates HOA Board of Directors is elected to a one-year term at the Annual Meeting of the Association each year. The 2026 board is looking forward to working with each of you to build an even better community that we can be proud of and call home.

2026 Board of Directors

  • President, Joe Bosco

  • Vice President/Treasurer, Cathleen Hoefler

  • Secretary, Sean Hanigan

Involved

An HOA Board needs the involvement of the entire Association community to function at its best. High levels of engagement from the community adds to the quality of life of the neighborhood and ensures edicts are understood and respected, making property values more stable.

2026 Fall Newsletter has been released!

Annexation into Ranson is here!

In December 2025 Briar Run Estates phases 1-3 were officially annexed into the city of Ranson. On July 1, 2026, Ranson officially took ownership of the roads.

What's next?

In the short term, you may begin to see replacement signage on our roads. Road maintenance, including snow removal, will now be the responsibility of the city of Ranson. You likely have also received a letter from the Jefferson County Assessor reflecting a Parcel number change for your property beginning in the tax year 2027.  It is highly recommended that you contact your mortgage company with this change to assure that their records are accurate and to ensure proper escrow. In the longer term you can expect to pay Ranson City taxes beginning in July 2027. Subsequently, you will also notice a substantial reduction in HOA dues! The 2027 annual assessment will be $200 or $50 quarterly.
